On Saturday, February 1st I had the pleasure of speaking to a group of fellow writers and YA enthusiasts in Prospect Connecticut. Discussion topics included the writing process, the first two T.J. Jackson novels, and the upcoming release of Roberto's Return. We sold a bunch of books and made some friends. Special thanks to librarian Lisa Murno and Louise MacCormack for coordinating the event.

Hi everybody, T.J. Jackson here. Bortnicker, LouAnne and I would just like to thank everyone who shared our two adventures in 2013 and invite you to PLEASE write some Amazon/Goodreads reviews about them to get the word out. Between Gettysburg and Bermuda it's been kind of hectic, but you should be seeing us again in the Spring of 2014. Keep checking Paul's website and the T.J. Jackson Mysteries page on Facebook for updates. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome. Who knows? Paul might use your ideas in an upcoming story! Well, gotta go...Bortnicker and his mom are joining us for a New Year's Eve dinner, which he's cooking. Should be interesting. See you in 2014!
T.J. Despite frigid weather, the CMS Bookfair at Barnes & Noble in Westport was a huge success for T.J. Jackson. We sold the most copies yet, and had a great time talking to readers of all ages. Special thanks to Karla Roof CMS PTA and Tricia at Barnes & Noble for organizing this great event. We hope to see you next year!
Well, we've hit the big time. This is from the Westport Barnes & Noble website:
Coleytown Middle School Bookfair Featuring Paul Ferrante: Join Coleytown Middle School for their bookfair, featuring favorite teacher and local author of Last Ghost at Gettysburg, Paul Ferrante, with his newest book, Spirits of the Pirate House. Thursday December 12, 2013 5:30 PM Westport Post Plaza Shopping Center, 1076 Post Road East, Westport, CT 06880, 203-221-7955 Last Saturday at the Fairfield U. Bookstore in town I joined with some local authors to promote "Small Business Saturday" in Fairfield. And nobody belonged there more than Fairfield resident T.J. Jackson! Thanks to Nancy Quinn for putting the event together.
On Saturday, November 30, I will be one of a group of authors doing a signing at the Fairfield University Bookstore (formerly Borders) on Post Road from 1-4 PM as part of Fairfield's "support local business" day. We'll have both books on hand... so if you're in town, stop by and say hi!
Last Saturday I had the pleasure of speaking in the Memorial Room of Fairfield Public Library Main Branch on Post Road. What a beautiful room! I was able to share the experiences of both novels and engage in some lively Q&A with the audience, which included my parents, Nat and Clare, my brother Rich, his wife Debbie and my nephew Nicholas. Thanks to all who came to hear about the adventures of T.J. Jackson.
As of today you can find Spirits of the Pirate House on Amazon in paperback. I expect the Kindle version will follow shortly. Last Ghost at Gettysburg is available on Amazon in both forms. Last Ghost is also available through Barnes and Noble as a Nook. I encourage you to write customer reviews for both books. Please support T.J. Jackson Mysteries!
Just days after Spirits of the Pirate House was being released, we were thrilled to see this fantastic review in Bernews, Bermuda's foremost online news and culture source. Hope you like it!
http://bernews.com/2013/08/spirits-of-the-pirate-house-set-in-bermuda/ As of now the book is available through fireandiceya.com and lulu.com. Amazon (Kindle and Paperback) to follow in a few weeks. |
